The Fifth Temple: Pura Ulun Danu Bratan – The Water Temple

The fifth temple on my journey was Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, a place of exceptional beauty and deep spirituality. This magnificent water temple, dedicated to Goddess Dewi Danu, the goddess of water, sits gracefully on the shores of Lake Bratan. Known for its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere, this temple is one of Bali's most sacred and visually iconic sites.

The Presence of Dragon Energy

What made this temple particularly special for me was the powerful energy I perceived—a force I can only describe as "dragon energy." However, before I could immerse myself in meditation, I was suddenly attacked by an unexpected challenge—a swarm of flies that seemed determined to completely overwhelm me. Their persistence was so intense that it felt like they were about to devour me alive.

A Surprising Taoist Solution

In my desperation, I recalled practical exercises from Healing Tao and decided to apply them immediately. To my astonishment, they worked! The flies vanished instantly, allowing me to meditate undisturbed for an entire hour.

The temple priest, who had been observing this spectacle, suddenly burst into laughter, giving me a thumbs-up in admiration. It was as if he was wondering how I had managed to do that. This unexpected moment of humor and lightness led me directly into a deep, profound meditation.

A Serpent-Like Energy Awakening

During my meditation, I felt a powerful, moving energy coursing through me—like a snake gently winding through my body. It was as if the energy flowed in soft waves, making the meditation extraordinarily deep, nourishing, and harmonizing for my body, mind, and soul.

A Sacred Ceremony of Renewal

The ceremonies with the priests and the offering of Pejati sacrifices heightened my sense of devotion and connection to the temple's divine essence.

For me, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan was a place of renewal and inner peace, one that profoundly touched my soul and enriched my spiritual journey in a way I will never forget.
